I guess it's time to say goodbye to Goro and his friends. After 5 years of spending regular time with them.

We hope you enjoyed the show.

See you later for other stuff I guess ^^`

I was kind of afraid of that Cry. But it was a good run. You guys can't imagine how thankful I am to you for subbing Major for 5 years. I hope you pick up another good sports anime if you have time and feel like subbing something Grin.

So now all its left are mangas Tongue.

Are you srious?!  Cry

Why are stop subbing major?

Lack in people?
Wouldn't it be possible to search for people that are willing to help with the left episodes?

It's over dude. The entire series is wrapped up with episode 129 of Major. NHK has not announced anything regarding a Season 6, thus there are no plans for one. But, as Dman4Life mentioned on IRC, like Hajime no Ippo, it might be back after ~18 months. That should give enough of a break to the VA's. But again, there are no signs to that either. So, you'll just have to keep your fingers crossed.

On a side note, I have a feeling we'll be seeing another movie in a year or two.

P.S. Joined the forums just to be pessimistic. Tongue I hate things that never end, so I'm glad this did, would have liked a better ending though.

Well if it must end, it must.  Thanks to the crew here that they kept with it and offered great fansubs!!! I hope to see another series from you when you guys recover from the last five season of Major.  And if there is any continuation (i.e. movie, OVA, or season 6) I'll look here first.  Thanks for the many years of hard work.

yeah, i have to agree with psg23 but, you can't erase the fact that it could be too  Cry that your fave anime would end. but still, im happy that finally there's a conclusion, i don't like lengthy animes too.. naruto, bleach..etc. Conan might be one as well.. 551?? omg. But still..everyone of us here love MAJOR so its quite saddening to bid farewell to our beloved goro! but like psg23 said, if there's a possibility of s6, movie,  ova of major, we look here first and look forward to it.. THANK you so much MJN's staff for making MAJOR subs possible, w/o you, we can't enjoy a tasteful treat of MAJOR! i hope you'd continue subbing crossgame or other sports anime too..  Cheesy Grin godspeed.. more power to you  Wink

you're totally right:)

Only thing thats bothering me.... the end with shimizu... she is goro's girlfriend. But tbh nothing really happend. So if there will be an OVA or 2nd movie... it would be nice to see more action about that.  and ofcourse a revenge against junior:)

but thats my opinion;)

I was under the assumption that the anime had caught up with the manga. Could this be a delay in order for the manga to get ahead a bit more?

The manga's been around for 15 years. The anime was able to catch up in 5 years.

Woah, if that is true, season 6 might come out!

Anyways, I am very thankful for MJN subbing Major!

They are all on torrents, dude. They are also on the direct download MJN promotes and IRC. MJN isn't over; still working on Cross Game and a few other baseball animes.

It's sad to see Major coming to an end... for now, Cheesy (I hope.).

But Cross Games has really healed the void in my heart. Everyone should check that show out
